Matt Quinn
Director

Matt Quinn joins Blackthorn Strategic Advisors as an accomplished sales and partnerships professional, bringing extensive experience in both leadership and individual contributor roles at large organizations and early-stage startups within capital markets and technology.

Concurrently with his role at Blackthorn, Mr. Quinn is an independent go-to-market consultant for multiple early-stage startups in the software sector, with particular expertise in the restaurant industry. He excels in forging partnerships with individuals and organizations dedicated to that vertical.

 

Previously, Mr. Quinn was the VP of Partnerships at Bbot, Inc., a mobile ordering and payment platform for restaurants, bars, and hotels, prior to its acquisition by DoorDash. Before joining Bbot, he served as an Account Executive in Los Angeles for the restaurant POS company Toast, Inc.

 

Earlier in his career, Mr. Quinn was the Director of an alternative data research startup, working on projects for long-short equity hedge funds. He also held the position of Vice President in Institutional Equity Sales at BMO Capital Markets in New York City.

 

Mr. Quinn began his formal experience in the restaurant industry in 2001 at a restaurant within the Brinker International portfolio.  He holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Maryland.
